Once again Bollywood follow the same path, by trying to get the audience’s attention through the controversial topic and showing unproven facts. It led the director Anubhav Sinha tagged as “anti-nationalist” on Twitter by various users. Netizens started boycotting Bheed movie on social media which will negatively impact the initial movie collections.

Technical points-  Direction and Narration are excellent by director Anubhav Sinha, Screenplay was overall average but in the second half audience lost the interest in the story because of the repetition of same dialogues and slow story. Bheed movie dialogues are very regular so you do not even remember a single line of the movie after leaving the theatre. The background music(BGM) and songs were below average.

I should appreciate Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Kumar, and Ashutosh Rana acting in this Bheed movie review. Their acting performances are the only reason that makes Bheed move a one-time watchable. But I will suggest wait for the OTT release if you are not a Rajkumar Rao fan.

Spoiler-free Bheed review – The movie started with national lockdown scene day 24 march 2020 which was imposed after the Covid pandemic outbreak in India. According to the makers, Bheed movie is based on the true events of lockdowns during the Corona pandemic in 2020 and 2021. The director tries to highlight the socio economic problems of daily wagers, dehadis, factory workers, and other lower-class labourers who relocated to cities for work and to serve their families. The movie shows a few incidents related to transportation issues, food crises, and health issues that were faced by the lower class during the lockdowns.

Honest opinion: The director tries to compare the lockdown situation with the India-Pakistan partition incidents. Lack of research and the director did not try to show the side of the administration and the hard work of the government. The director just try to impose his personal views about the lockdown on the audience which I felt was wrong. As filmmakers are also citizens of this country so they should be aware of what they are showing to the public and what are the consequences of spreading misinformation.

Now you can decide whether you want to watch this movie or not after reading our Bheed Movie Review or wait for the OTT release.
