“yaha kuch bhi ho sakta hai” is the perfect slogan for India. In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, an interesting case of cheating by tantrikas has come up. Two Men Cheat UK-returned Doctor, Sells Him ‘Aladdin ka Chirag’ for Rs 2.5 cr. The incident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district.
Two men said to be ‘tantriks’ have cheated a London-returned doctor of Rs 2.5 cr by selling him a magical lamp promising that it could fulfill all his wishes, yes, not just three, all.
According to reports, the victim, Dr. Laeek Khan, filed a complaint saying he was cheated by the duo in the Khairnagar area which comes under Brahmpuri police station of the city.
Previously in 2018, a patient named Sameena came into contact with the Dr. Laeek Khan, the doctor started frequently visiting her home for dressing following her surgery. And, it was through Sameena that the doctor met a Tantrik named Islamuddin, who claimed that he had magical powers and also promised to give the doctor ‘Aladdin Ka Chirag’ which will make him a billionaire.
According to the victim, Dr. Laeek Khan, the Tantrik and his friend often made him see a ‘jinn’ appearing from the magical lamp AKA Chirag. However, they never allowed him to touch it and take it home, saying that touching it would be ominous for him. They scared him saying it will do bad things to him if he touched the lamp.
The doctor said the Tantrik and his friend cheated him of Rs 2.5 cr in total for selling him fake ‘Aladdin Ka Chirag’.
The doctor approached the police who arrested the two men, Islamuddin and his friend Anees, while a search is on for the woman.
